Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2025

1. Overview

QAForge is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not require user accounts or authentication
  • We do not collect personal information (name, email, etc.)
  • We do not use cookies for tracking purposes
  • We do not access your GitHub account or private repositories

2.2 Information We May Collect

  • Usage Analytics: We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which collects anonymized data about page views and does not use cookies or track individual users.
  • Server Logs: Our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) may log standard web request information (IP addresses, browser type, etc.) for security and performance purposes.

3. How We Use GitHub Data

QAForge displays publicly available data from GitHub, including:

  • Public repository information (name, description, stars, language)
  • Public issue data (title, labels, creation date, comments count)
  • Public user information (usernames, avatar URLs)

This data is accessed through GitHub's official API and is already publicly visible on GitHub.com. We cache this data temporarily to improve performance and reduce API load.

4. Data Storage and Caching

We use Cloudflare KV to cache GitHub API responses. This cache:

  • Contains only publicly available GitHub data
  • Is automatically expired after a short period (5-30 minutes)
  • Does not contain any personal user information
  • Is used solely to improve service performance

5. AI Processing

We use Cloudflare Workers AI to analyze issue content and generate summaries. The issue text is processed in real-time and is not stored beyond the caching period. AI-generated summaries are cached temporarily to improve response times.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect against unauthorized access:

  • All connections are encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
  • We do not store sensitive personal information
  • Our infrastructure is protected by Cloudflare's security features

8. Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal information, there is no personal data for you to access, correct, or delete. If you have concerns about publicly available GitHub data appearing on our service, please contact GitHub directly to manage your public profile settings.

9. Children's Privacy

QAForge is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
